Good to know before visiting Iran with family
There are a few points that families traveling to Iran should keep in mind:
Children require an Iran visa. Everyone planning to travel to Iran needs an Iran tourist visa and travel insurance. This rule applies to children of any age as well.
Do not overload your luggage because Diapers, cereals, and baby milk, can be found at drugstores and supermarkets. It’s better to avoid eating at roadside restaurants and stick to famous ones.
Girls older than 14 must wear Hijab
Women and Men have to follow a certain dress code in public areas in Iran. Women have to cover their hair and also need to wear clothing that conceals their body parts)long-sleeved coats or tunics that cover their lower waste and pants, skirts, or dresses that are long enough to cover the leg. Despite the common misunderstanding, “chador” is not compulsory except when visiting some holy shrines, where you can buy a ready-made one from a nearby bazaar.
Men should avoid wearing sleeveless shirts and shorts.
However, for tourists, the rules are not strictly observed.

Based on your flight time, we start the tour by going to the Golestan Palace. The Golestan Palace complex is a relic leftover from the historical citadel of Tehran, the residence of the kings of the Qajar dynasty, and one of the most beautiful and ancient buildings in the 200-year-old capital of Iran.
We have15 minutes’ walk, 8 minutes by car to Tehran Grand Bazaar. First, we will go to have lunch in one of the oldest and best restaurants in Tehran Bazaar, namely Sharaf Al-Eslami Restaurant. The restaurant is so famous that many people come to the bazaar area just to eat in this restaurant.
Continue our tour to explore the famous Tehran Bazaar.
Tehran Bazaar does not need to be introduced. This lovely bazaar hosts a large number of people every day. As you walk, take a look at the top of your head and see its beautiful architecture as well as its tourist attractions, such as Haj Ali Darvish Tea House, Sabzeh Meydan, and, Timcheh-e Hajeb-od-Dowleh.
Overnight Tehran
Today we have a trip to Jurassic time. let’s go to Tehran Jurassic Park.
It is fascinating for children and even adults to see gigantic dinosaurs that became extinct 66 million years ago. The dinosaurs could move their hands and legs open and close their eyes which is enjoyable for children. also, you have the opportunity to see the birth process of a baby dinosaur was animated. In this theme park, all kinds of dinosaur sculptures in real dimensions and different types have been made. Tehran Jurassic Park has an area of 30,000 square meters and has about 28 moving dinosaurs in it. This park is both fun and adds to children’s information.
After lunch and a little rest, we go to the airport and on the way, we see Milad and Azadi Tower. Overnight Shiraz
This is another full-day tour. Let’s visit the former capital of Iran, during the Zand dynasty’s era, the city of love, poets, and the best wines in the world called Syrah.
First, you will visit Nasir-al-Mulk Mosque (Pink Mosque). Its interior is a masterpiece of design with stunning colors. at the sunrise, colors start dancing. It reflects on the visitors, ground, walls, the arches, and the towering spires.
Then you’ll have time to explore and shop in the Vakil Bazaar, home to hundreds of stores, and beautiful courtyards.
For lunch, we go to one of the best local restaurants and you’ll enjoy its delicious lunch and friendly ambiance. After lunch, you will go to visit the tomb of Hafez. One of the most outstanding poets who impressed everyone with his mastery.
After some hours of rest in the evening, you will go to the Negin Fars complex. Including shops, restaurants, and Amusement parks, you will have fun with your family there.
En route to Isfahan, we stop to visit the ancient capital of Persia, Persepolis (UNESCO world heritage site). A scenic guided tour to discover the history. You will explore the immense palaces, monumental gateways, and statues of mythical creatures. Persepolis is one of those attractions that stays in your memories.
In the evening, if you aren’t tired we go to visit the Si-o-Se pol and Khaju bridges.
Khajoo Bridge is located on the Zayandehrood River in Isfahan and is one of the unique bridges in Iran in terms of strength, symmetry, and architectural style. Walking on this bridge is one of the most enjoyable pastimes, especially at sunset. Overnight Isfahan
Your trip begins at Bird Garden. Birds Garden of Isfahan is a perfect place for a fans of bird-watching and also children.
More than 5000 birds from 130 different species of birds are gathered from Iran and other countries such as Australia, Indonesia, China, and Tanzania. The experience of walking among tall trees and hearing the heavenly sound of different birds’ symphony is amazing.
Birds Garden is located inside Nazhvan Forest Park, you can also visit Isfahan Aquarium and Reptile Garden.
Isfahan Aquarium( optional)
An unforgettable experience from the depths of the ocean, in the greatest tunnel aquarium in Iran with an area of more than 4000 square meters.
In Isfahan Aquarium kept more than 6500 alive creatures and 350 species of fish. it has 33 different aquariums which are located at 7 meters depth of the ground.
Being so close to such lovely animals and seeing the underwater life is a wonderful experience for children and adults. Children can Feed some of the fishes, get familiar with sea animals and find some information about them.
After lunch and some rest, we continue our tour by visiting Imam Square including Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque or Shah Mosque, the most famous thing about this mosque is it is circular
Dome with its extremely beautiful motifs and paintings. You will also visit Ali Qapu Palace. This Palace is one of the unique examples of Safavid palaces that were built in the 11th century AH during the reign of Shah Abbas I. Our tour in Imam square finishes by visiting the Qeisarieh Bazaar. There are so many fantastic handicrafts you can buy as a souvenir for your family or friends because Isfahan is known for its handicrafts. We recommend you to have a rest in Chah-e Haj Mirza or Azadegan Tee House, located right outside of the Square. The teahouse, decorated with old pieces of stuff and pictures, is most famous for its atmosphere and collections of antiques. Besides tea and food, you can also taste a special dessert, Dogh (a sour drink) and, Goshfil (a kind of sweat). Overnight Isfahan
It is a pity that we do not see Vank Church and leave Isfahan. Vank Cathedral is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Isfahan. It is located in Kelisa Alley-Nazar-e Sharqi Street in the New Julfa district in the center of Isfahan. it has an outstanding interior, Paintings are about stories from the holy bible and Tora. The tile works are with gild adornments.
After that, we have about 2 hours’ drive to Kashan. Kashan is an old and beautiful city that is located 220 km south of Tehran province.
We start our tour from Fin Garden, which has very nice weather and we can have a cup of tea in the teahouse and relax a bit. The Fin garden is one of the masterpieces of the Persian garden and dates back to the Safavid era. The Fin Bath is also located in the Fin Garden; where Amir Kabir, the Qajarid chancellor, was murdered in 1852. After dinner, we return to the hotel. Overnight Kahan
