Introduction

Start and end in Tehran, you have a 13 days tour package taking you through the main cities and one of the famous deserts. So if you’re planning your trip to Iran and you are interested in visiting the desert next to the main cities of Iran, here we have a fantastic itinerary for you

Day 1: Tehran

Welcome to our beautiful country. Depending on your flight, our representative will meet and greet you; then, you will be transferred to the hotel. There are no activities planned for this day so you have time to get settled. Just remember to talk to your guide about the time you want to start your tour. Overnight Tehran

Day 2: Tehran

Let’s go to start our tour by visiting Golestan Palace (Every Tile of this palace, with its stunning mirrors, will surprise any tourist. This palace, which has been the crowning place of Iranian rulers for the past century, has many wonders that you should look around for and see the great events that have taken place.) then you will go to Tehran Bazaar (Grand Bazaar dates back to the Safavid era, the time of Nasser al-Din Shah), with its unique entrance and distinctive architecture, it has played an important role in Tehran’s economic and social environment. Now, this Bazaar, in addition to its economic role, can be seen as a monument to Iranian Islamic architecture. 

In the evening, we will go to Nature Bridge. The bridge has a very organic design. The construction of all the appearance and columns of the bridge is inspired by nature. Overnight Tehran

Day 3: Tehran-Qom-Kashan

In the morning drive toward Kashan. On the way, we have a short stop to visit the Hazrat Masume shrine in Qom. Then continue our way to Kashan, after some hours we will visit Fin Garden, a relaxing and visually impressive Persian garden with water channels all passing through a central pavilion. Then, you will visit Boroujerdi Traditional House and the bazaar, where you can shop and have a cup of tea. Overnight Kashan

Day 4: Kashan-Abyane-Isfahan

In-route to Isfahan, you will visit Abyaneh village. The buildings are a mix of very old and some refurbished, but you think you have arrived in another century as you walk around. Women in Abyaneh typically wear a white long scarf, which has a colorful pattern. Then drive toward Isfahan (Isfahan is half of the World). If you are not tired, you can go to visit some of the famous bridges like Sio-Se-pol and Khajou. In the evening, you can have a special view of these bridges with the reflection of water from the lights of the bridge. You can drink a cup of tea and listen to guys who are singing and enjoy the nightlife. Overnight Isfahan

Day 5-Isfahan

You will go to start your tour by visiting Imam Square including Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque or Shah Mosque, the most famous thing about this mosque is its circular dome with its extremely beautiful motifs and paintings. You will also visit Ali Qapu Palace. This Palace is one of the unique examples of Safavid palaces that were built in the 11th century AH during the reign of Shah Abbas I. Our tour in Imam square finish by visiting the Qeisarieh Bazaar. There are so many fantastic handicrafts you can buy as a souvenir for your family or friends because Isfahan is known for its handicrafts. We recommend you to have a rest in Chah-e Haj Mirza or Azadegan Tee House, located right outside of the Square. The teahouse, decorated with old pieces of stuff and pictures, is most famous for its atmosphere and collections of antiques. Besides tea and food, you can also taste a special dessert, Dogh (a sour drink) and, Goshfil (a kind of sweat).

In the afternoon, you will go to visit Chehel Sotun Palace, which was built by Shah Abbas to be used for the Shah’s entertainment and receptions. Shah Abbas and his successors received dignitaries and ambassadors, either on the terrace or in one of the stately reception halls. Overnight Isfahan

Day 6-Isfahan

Our tour begins with a trip to the Vank Cathedral, this Cathedral is a masterpiece of architecture in Isfahan. Officially known as the Armenian Cathedral, it that built during the reign of Shah Abbas II. The architecture of this church is a combination of Iranian and Armenian architecture. Inside the church and all the surrounding walls are adorned with oil paintings and gold water in the Iranian style. Some images from the life of Jesus Christ are influenced by Italian painting. Then continue our exploration in Isfahan by visiting Masjed-e Jamé.

In the afternoon, we will visit  Hasht Behesht Palace. The other remaining monument of the Safavid Era is Hasht Behesht Palace located on Chahar Bagh Street. In the Persian language, Hasht Behesht used to mean “The Entrance to Heaven” Hasht Behesht Palace was once known as “the most beautiful palace in the world”. Overnight Isfahan

Day 7– Isfahan -Varzaneh

After a hearty breakfast, we will drive toward Varzaneh (Approximately 2 hours driving). That is famous for its wonderful dunes. The wind has made sandy hills into different shapes such as linear, pyramidal, or crescent. I suggest you take off your shoes and walk on the clean and smooth sand, it’s an amazing experience. You can walk for hours on the soft sands and enjoy the silence of the desert. One of the most interesting places in Varzaneh is the Gavkhoni wetland. Pigeon House and Ghoortan Citadel are other attractions. you can experience unique activities here like off-road driving, camel riding, Riding motorcycles, Quad bike riding. At the sunset, be ready to spend a dreamy night watching the enchanting starry night sky of the desert. Overnight Varzaneh

Day 8 -Varzane-Naien-Maybod-Yazd

Today after a hearty desert view breakfast, we will drive toward Yazd but our next stop will be in the small town of Na’in, we will visit the beautiful Jame MosqueKabootar khane, and weaving workshop. Overnight Yazd

Day 9 -Yazd

The ancient city of Yazd has valuable and traditional architecture and is the first Mud-brick city in Iran, that is registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Yazd has spectacular architecture and an intact traditional texture. Therefore, it is not surprising that it hosts many tourists.

Today, we will take you to the Tower of Silence or Zoroastrian Tower a tower on a sedimentary mountain called the Castle of Zoroastrians and was a place of worship for the Zoroastrians. It is also the place where the Zoroastrians left their dead bodies to be eaten by animals and birds and returned to the cycle of nature.

Then we will visit Jame Mosque which was built for nearly 100 years over three periods, the mosque was one of the main foundations of the Sassanid government.

The next place is Amir Chakhmaq Square with a collection of monuments and valuable objects. One of the most prominent landmarks in Amir Chakhmaq Square is a tower with tall minarets that remain the most authentic part of the city.

In the afternoon we will visit Dowlat Abad Garden. This huge garden has a special effect at night, let your soul be refreshed. Overnight Yazd

Day 10– Yazd-Persepolis-Shiraz

Next up is Shiraz. En route, you will visit Persepolis (UNESCO World Heritage). At night visit the Shah-E-Cheragh shrine. Overnight Shiraz

Day 11-Shiraz

After eating your delicious breakfast, you will go to visit Nasir-al-Mulk Mosque (Pink Mosque), when the sun shines on the colored glass of this mosque, its nave becomes colorful and dreamy and it is one of the best places for photography. Then continue our tour in Vakil Complex( Bath, Mosque, Bazaar) where you can find the most attractive and delicious souvenirs of Shiraz. We recommend you to eat your lunch in one of the lovely traditional restaurants, such as the Sharzeh or Ghavam restaurant. ( this way you have a chance to experience Iranian delicious food).

In the evening you will visit the Tombs of Hafez and Saadi (Be sure to try the ice cream shops around Saadi’s tomb and enjoy) and Eram Garden which is one of the most beautiful gardens in Iran. In this historical garden, there are several buildings and a botanical garden. The garden has been registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Overnight Shiraz

Day 12 -Shiraz-Tehran

Today you have a flight to Tehran. Based on your flight time you will have a light tour in Shiraz or Tehran. Overnight Tehran

Day 13-Tehran

Time to say “Goodbye”

You will depart the accommodation based on your flight time. We are happy that you will return to your country with good memories.

Wear the glasses during the activity in the desert.

The best time to go Varzaneh is autumn.

Tehran Bazaar is closed on Friday.
