On this tour, you will visit Tehran, the largest city and the capital of Iran. A different and modern city, which is the result of a combination of ancient buildings, magnificent mosques, luxurious mansions, and modern buildings. You visit the city of Mashhad, which is famous for the shrine of Imam Reza and the tomb of Ferdowsi. You will experience an amazing boat ride in the longest water cave in the world, namely Ali Sadr Cave in Hamedan. In Tabriz indoor market (the largest covered Bazaar in the world) with its extraordinary architecture, you can see and buy valuable and colorful hand-woven and silk carpets. You will have many other experiences that undoubtedly you will enjoy.

Day 1: Tehran

Day1: TEHRAN

After arriving at Tehran Intl airport, your guide will meet and greet you; then, you will be transferred to the hotel. Overnight Tehran

Day2: TEHRAN

We will start our tour with a trip to the heart of history. Our magical tour starts at Mashgh Square, then we head to the National Garden (Baghe-Melli) which is a building built by the order of Reza Khan. This valuable work is the entrance to Mashgh Square. On the door, tiles depicting the capture of Tehran during the coup d’etat of 1299 and the angels of victory and the Kazakh soldiers. This entrance is one of the symbols of Tehran. We continue our way to the National Museum of Iran (Iran Bastan Museum). This museum is the first museum in Iran; we watch the works related to the civilization of ancient Iran that take your soul to thousands of years ago. It’s time to go to the Golestan Palace. A palace where tiles have something to say and delicate and amazing mirrors enchant every aspiring tourist. This palace, which has been the site of the coronation of Iranian rulers for the past century, has many wonders, that we must get acquainted with the important events that took place there. We should not forget to visit the National Jewelry Museum. A museum that is a valuable treasure trove of Iranian royal jewelry.

In the evening, if you are not tired, we can go to the Milad tower and Nature Bridge. Overnight Tehran

Day3: TEHRAN- QAZVIN – HAMEDAN

Early in the morning, we will head to the Hamedan, and along the way; we will stop in Qazvin to visit Chehelsotun Palace. The only remaining pavilion from the time of Shah Tahmasb Safavid in Qazvin is Chehelston Palace or Kolah Farangi edifice. Kolah Farangi edifice was built on two floors in the middle of a large garden in the form of octagons. Paintings from the Qazvin school can be seen on the walls of the first floor, which are world-famous. At present, this palace has become the Museum of Calligraphy in Qazvin.

Then visit Jame Mosque (Masjid-e-Jameh Atiq Qazvin). One of the important features of this mosque is the existence of 8 naves and an underground nave. Also, on the top of a porch of this mosque, there is a turquoise and beautiful dome and the porch in front of it has two tiled minarets. The Qazvin Grand Mosque was small and simple at the beginning of its construction, and in the following periods, additions were added to it, and a larger space was allocated to the mosque. Most of the changes took place during the Safavid period. Then continue our way to Hamedan. Overnight Hamedan

Day4: HAMEDAN

On this day you will go to visit Ali-Sadr Cave which is one of the longest water caves in the world. Geologists have attributed the age of Ali Sadr Cave to the Jurassic period due to its internal rocks. There is no animal life inside Ali Sadr Cave, and its water is inedible due to having many calcareous salts. The temperature inside the cave is constant throughout the year and is about 12 degrees Celsius. Then, after boating in the cave, you will eat your lunch in Alisadr Jahangardi Hotel and then visit the pottery workshops and pottery shops of Laleh Jin.

In the evening we have a Night walk in Ganjnameh complex to see the waterfall and visit the Achaemenid inscriptions of Ganjnameh. Overnight Hamedan

Day5: HAMEDAN- KERMANSHAH

After eating breakfast, we start the road trip toward Kermanshah. On our way, we will stop to visit Anahita Temple in Kangavar. Anahita Temple is the largest stone structure in Iran after Persepolis and it is one of the ancient monuments of the pre-Christian era. Then visit Bistoon Inscription. The Biston inscription is a valuable reminder of the words of Darius, the Great of the Achaemenids to all Iranians. Overnight Kermanshah

Day 6: Kermanshah – Sanandaj

Leaving Kermanshah and drive toward Sanandaj. Sanandaj is one of the most beautiful cities in the west of the country. This city, like many other cities, has two modern and traditional textures.

Today we will go to visit some attractions in this city. One of them is Salar Saeid Mansion, which was built in the late Nasser al-Din Shah Qajar period, and nowadays its use as a museum. This mansion (Sanandaj Museum) is near to the Sanandaj Grand Mosque, the house of Asif Vaziri, and the Mojtahedi. Sanandaj Jame Mosque or Dar ol-Ehsan Mosque; it is one of the most magnificent examples of Iranian-Islamic architecture of the Qajar period, which is located in the traditional context of Sanandaj. Then spend an hour in Backgammon Bazaar, where the most professional wooden craftsmen are employed. They make beautiful objects such as trays, jewelry boxes, and wooden boards with shapeless wood. This market is a good place for buying all kinds of wooden boards especially Backgammon. Day7: Sanandaj – Urmia

Today, we have a full day of driving to reach Urmia (6 hours driving). Overnight Urmia

Day8: Urmia

Full day tour of Urmia to visit Neneh Maryam Church, Naneh Maryam Church is a legacy of Assyrians, some archaeologists claim that it is the second oldest church in the world after the Beit Lahm Church in Palestine. After that visit Se Gonbad or Three Domes, it’s a tomb that dates back to the Seljuk period, it was built in the cylinder shape with stone and brick. We continue our tour by visiting Urmia Bazaar that belongs to the Safavid period. The other attractions of Urmia are Mar Sar Giz Church, Urmia Municipality building, Sheikh Tappeh Park, and Chi Chest Beach.

Day9: Urmia – Jolfa

Today we will move toward Jolfa. We go to the heart of history and visit churches and historical bazaar. Our first fascinating visit will be St. Stephen’s Church. It is known as the second oldest and most valuable church in Iran after Qarah Kelisa Church and is located near Aras River. Then we visit the Aras River to enjoy the unique nature, along with the plains and lush mountains along with fishing from this watery river.

Then we will go to visit Jolfa Free Zone Shopping Malls. There you can buy whatever you want. Overnight Jolfa

 

Day 10: Jolfa – Tabriz

In the morning, we drive to Tabriz. It’s about 2 hours driving. At first, we will visit Blue Mosque; the architecture of this mosque is a masterpiece. The exterior and interior walls of the mosque are decorated with azure mosaic tiles. Hence this mosque is considered as Islam‘s Turquoise. Then you will have time to explore and shop in the largest indoor bazaar and the largest interconnected brick structure complex in the world namely Tabriz Bazaar (UNESCO world heritage). The most important goods that are sold in this historical bazaar of Tabriz are handmade carpets of Tabriz and Azerbaijan, leather bags and shoes, spices, etc. if you are not tired you can visit Azerbaijan Museum and El Goli Park (formerly Shah Goli). Day11: Tabriz – Kandovan – Tabriz

Early excursion drive to Kandovan village. Its 2 hours away from Tabriz. Kandovan is one of three rocky villages in the world (such as Cappadocia, Turkey, and the village of Dakota in the United States), with the difference that the people are still living in this village. What attracts the most attention is the rock architecture of this village. This type of architecture represents the scene of human struggle with nature and the use of natural rocks by humans. This amazing and dreamy village welcomes adventurers who want to have a new experience. Overnight Tabriz

Day12: Tabriz – Ardebil

We departure from Tabriz towards Ardebil. At first, we will visit Sheikh Safi al-Din Tomb (UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE) and we enjoy seeing the unique architecture, then visit the Allah Allah Dome Which is the most spectacular part of this complex.

Continue our exploration in Ardebil at the Ardabil Anthropology Museum. The Anthropological Museum of Ardabil, located in the Aghanaghi Bath, recounts the ancient heritage and historical identity of the people of this region. In this museum, 33 types of sculptures with a local and ritual cover of the people of Ardabil province is displayed. The bath dates back to the Ilkhani period. End your day in Ardebil on Bazaar. Day13: Ardebil –Anzali

Today we have a full day driving to reach Anzali. we want to cross the most dreamy forest road in Iran, the Asalem Khalkhal road. Overnight Anzali

Day14: Anzali

Full day tour in Anzali. After breakfast, we will visit the wonderful Anzali wetland and then Kolah Farangi mansion. After eating lunch at Anzali beach restaurants, you’ll have time to buy handicrafts from the Anzali border market. Overnight Anzali

 

Day15: Anzali-Ramsar

Today, we will travel to Ramsar. Ramsar is known for having mineral springs. Ramsar mineral springs have many healing properties and it has a beautiful nature around it. Then we will visit Reza Shah Palace or the Marble Palace. This palace belongs to the Pahlavi era. Ramsar Museum Palace Garden is considered one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in Iran, where different and rare plant species can be seen.

Afterward, we will go to the Ramsar cable car. Overnight Ramsar

 

Day16: Ramsar -Gorgan

Early in the morning, we will head to the Gorgan. Overnight Gorgan

Day17: Gorgan

Full day tour of Gorgan to visit the Gorgan Palace Museum. This palace belongs to the first Pahlavi period, which has been turned into the Gorgan Museum Palace after restoration. Then we go to Nahar Khoran forest to have a dreamy picnic day. Overnight Bandar Gorgan

Day18: Gorgan– Mashhad

Full day driving (it’s about 7 hours). Overnight Mashhad

Day19: Mashhad

The first place we visit is the Imam Reza Shrine. After that, you can visit the affiliated complexes of the Razavi shrine, such as the Astan Quds Razavi Central Museum and the Imam Reza Bazaar. For lunch, we suggest you go to the Kooh Sangi Park which is one of the most beautiful spots in Mashhad. In the evening, if you are not tired, you can visit some attractions such as the tomb of Nader Shah Afshar (Naderi Garden), Vakil Abad Park (Vakil Abad Garden), and the Botanical Garden. Overnight Mashhad

Day20: Mashhad-Tehran

We will take you to the airport to fly to Tehran. Based on your flight time you will have a light tour. Overnight Tehran

Day21: Tehran-Depart

You will depart the accommodation based on your flight time. We are happy that you will return to your country with good memories.
