Itinerary
Depending on your flight schedule, our representative will greet you upon arrival and escort you to your hotel. After a few hours of rest, you will visit the Imamzadeh Saleh Shrine, situated in the northern district of Tajrish. This shrine is the final resting place of Saleh, the son of Musa Al-Kadhem, the seventh Shia Imam. The striking azure dome and minarets, adorned with beautiful tile work in the traditional Safavid style, overlook the bustling Tajrish Bazaar. Inside, the shrine features a stunning mirrored interior, typical of Iranian mosques. In the courtyard, you’ll find a magnificent Plane tree, recognized as a national heritage site. If you wish, you can explore the bazaar before returning to your hotel for the night in Tehran.
Day 2: Tehran – Mashhad
Today, you will take a flight to Mashhad. Depending on your flight time, you will enjoy a light tour in Tehran before departure. Mashhad is considered the most significant religious destination for Iranians and a key hub for Muslims worldwide, especially for Shia believers.
Your visit today will include the impressive Imam Reza Holy Shrine, the final resting place of Imam Reza, a ninth-century descendant of Muhammad. The shrine’s gold dome, prominently located in the city center, is truly magnificent. Here, Muslims gather to pray and connect with God and His messenger. The beauty of the shrine is amplified by the dazzling reflections of its mirrored interior, showcasing just a glimpse of the site’s grandeur. Overnight in Mashhad.
Day 3: Mashhad
On your second day in Mashhad, after visiting the Imam Reza Shrine, you will head to the Goharshad Mosque. This stunning mosque, located near the shrine, captivates all with its enormous blue dome and connects to the shrine through eight entrances.
For lunch, consider enjoying local cuisine at nearby restaurants such as Pesaran Karim or Rezaee. After a delightful meal, you will visit the tomb of Nader Shah Afshar at Bagh Naderi—a must-see monument honoring this historical figure, where you can feel the glory of the past.
Afterward, we’ll drive to Vakilabad Garden. This beautiful garden is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day. Overnight in Mashhad.
Day 4: Mashhad – Shiraz
Today, you will take a flight to Shiraz. Depending on your flight time, you will enjoy a light tour in Mashhad. Upon arrival in Shiraz, we will visit the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Ahmad Ibn Musa (AS), also known as Shahcheragh. He is the brother of the eighth Shia Imam, Imam Reza (AS). Overnight in Shiraz.
Day 5: Shiraz
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you will visit the Nasir-al-Mulk Mosque (Pink Mosque). When sunlight filters through the colored glass, the mosque’s interior transforms into a colorful, dreamy spectacle—perfect for photography. Next, explore the Vakil Complex, which includes a bath, mosque, and bazaar where you can find attractive souvenirs from Shiraz. For lunch, we recommend trying traditional Iranian cuisine at restaurants like Sharzeh or Ghavam.
In the evening, visit the Tombs of Hafez and Saadi—be sure to stop by the nearby ice cream shops for a treat. End the day at Eram Garden, one of Iran’s most beautiful gardens, featuring stunning buildings and a botanical garden. This garden is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. Overnight in Shiraz.
Day 6: Shiraz – Persepolis – Isfahan
Today, we embark on a full day’s drive to Isfahan, stopping to visit Persepolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as Parseh in ancient times, this magnificent capital was established during the Achaemenid period. Overnight in Isfahan.
Day 7: Isfahan
Welcome to Isfahan, often referred to as nesf-e jahan (Half the World).
Begin your tour at Imam Square, where you’ll visit the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque and the Shah Mosque. Notable for its stunning circular dome adorned with exquisite motifs and paintings, these mosques are architectural gems. You will also explore the Ali Qapu Palace, a unique Safavid-era palace built during Shah Abbas I’s reign. Your tour of Imam Square will conclude at the Qeisarieh Bazaar, famous for its handicrafts, perfect for souvenirs.
Take a break at Chah-e Haj Mirza or Azadegan Tea House, just outside the square. This charming teahouse is renowned for its atmosphere, antiques, and delicious offerings, including tea, special desserts, Doogh (a sour drink), and Goshfil (a sweet).
In the afternoon, visit the Chehel Sotun Palace, built by Shah Abbas for entertainment and receptions, where dignitaries and ambassadors were welcomed. Overnight in Isfahan.
Day 8: Isfahan – Kashan
Start your day with a visit to the Vank Cathedral, a stunning architectural masterpiece in Isfahan. Officially known as the Armenian Cathedral, it was built during Shah Abbas II’s reign, featuring a blend of Iranian and Armenian styles. The interior is adorned with oil paintings and gold accents in the Iranian tradition, with some depictions influenced by Italian art.
Afterward, drive to Kashan to explore the Fin Garden, a relaxing Persian garden recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, complete with water channels and a central pavilion. You’ll also visit the Boroujerdi Traditional House and the bazaar, where you can shop and enjoy a cup of tea. Overnight in Kashan.
Day 9: Kashan – Qom
After breakfast, we will drive toward Qom. Upon arrival, our first stop will be the magnificent Shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh, the most significant attraction in Qom, attracting countless pilgrims each year.
Next, we’ll explore the old bazaar of Qom, renowned as one of Iran’s most beautiful historical bazaars, and visit Feyziyeh School, one of the oldest educational institutions in Iran that has evolved into a prominent seminary. For lunch, we can enjoy a meal at the traditional and beautiful Yazdanpanah House restaurant.
Don’t forget to pick up Sohan, the special souvenir of Qom, before we conclude our day. Overnight in Qom.
Day 10: Qom – Depart
It’s time to say “Goodbye.” You will depart from your accommodation based on your flight schedule. We hope you return to your country with wonderful memories of your journey!
