Day1: Tehran

On arrival at Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKA) in Tehran, our representative will meet you and escort you to your hotel to rest. They give a refreshing welcome drink which changes according to the season.

Today, we will take you to The Niavaran Palace Complex consists of several buildings and a museum. The Sahebqraniyeh (Kings’ Special Office), The Palace of the Qajar dynasty, and The Jahan-Nama Museum. Then, we will visit the Sa’ad Abad complex.

Sa’ad Abad consists of 18 palaces with different dimensions and statuses within the complex. These include Green Palace, White Palace, Ahmad Shahi Palace, Farshchian Museum, and Black Palace,

Later, we will go to Darband. Darband is an old village in Shemiran. This is 1700 meters above sea level and is one of the main starting routes taken by mountaineers for reaching the central Alborz Range. This place has many modern and traditional cafes and restaurants, located both indoors and outdoors, we will have a delicious lunch in one of them.

 

Day 2: Tehran to Shiraz – The City of Roses and Poetry

After a quick transfer to Mehrabad Airport, we’ll catch our flight to the charming city of Shiraz. Our first stop will be the breathtaking Nasir-al Molk Mosque, famously known as the Pink Mosque. Step inside to witness the magic of sunlight filtering through vibrant stained glass windows, creating a kaleidoscope of colors. It’s a serene haven perfect for photography and reflection.

Next, we’ll dive into the rich culture at the bustling Vakil Bazaar. As you walk through its winding corridors, let the aromatic scent of spices guide you. Be mesmerized by the vibrant colors of textiles, intricate carpets, and the timeless charm of this ancient marketplace. You’ll also explore the Vakil Mosque and the historical Saraye Moshir.

For lunch, we’ll indulge in a delicious meal at one of the bazaar’s finest restaurants. Afterward, enjoy a well-deserved rest at the hotel to recharge for the evening’s adventure.

Later, get ready for an unforgettable Persian Food Tour. We’ll immerse ourselves in the flavors of Shiraz, cooking alongside a local family in their traditional home. From shopping for fresh ingredients at the local market to preparing a delicious meal together, this hands-on experience is a heartwarming way to discover Iran’s culinary heritage. Day 3: Shiraz – Persepolis – Abarkuh

Today, we embark on a journey to Persepolis, where the grandeur of ancient Iran comes to life. Once the ceremonial capital of the mighty Achaemenid Empire, Persepolis stands as a testament to Iran’s rich history and architectural marvels. Explore the majestic ruins, feel the echoes of ancient kings, and immerse yourself in the stories of this UNESCO World Heritage site.

Afterward, we’ll drive to the historic town of Abarkuh. Our first stop will be the iconic Ancient Cedar Tree, a 4,000-year-old natural wonder that has stood the test of time. Next, we’ll explore the beautifully preserved Aghazadeh Historic House, known for its unique windcatcher architecture, followed by a visit to the serene Nezamiyeh Mosque.

Day 4: Abarkuh – Yazd

After enjoying a delightful breakfast, we will set off towards the ancient city of Yazd, recently inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Upon arrival, we’ll take a leisurely walk through the city, observing the Yazdi people and their traditional way of life.

Our first stop will be the haunting Tower of Silence, or Zoroastrian Dakhmeh, perched on a sedimentary mountain known as the Castle of Zoroastrians. This ancient site served as a sacred place for Zoroastrians, where they returned their dead to nature in a ritual of purity and renewal.

Next, we’ll visit the magnificent Jame Mosque, an architectural masterpiece that took nearly 100 years to complete, spanning three historical periods. Its towering minarets and exquisite tilework are a testament to the grandeur of the Sassanid era.

We’ll then explore the iconic Amir Chakhmaq Square, home to a collection of historical monuments. The imposing structure with its tall minarets is one of Yazd’s most famous landmarks and offers a glimpse into the city’s rich history.

In the afternoon, we’ll unwind at the serene Dowlat Abad Garden, a UNESCO-listed Persian garden that glows with a magical charm, especially at night. Let the tranquility of this lush oasis refresh your soul.

To finish the day, we’ll visit an ancient Iranian gymnasium called Zoorkhane, where you’ll witness the unique and age-old sport of Persian wrestling, steeped in tradition and cultural significance.

Day 5: Yazd – Meybod – Nain – Isfahan

Today, we journey towards Isfahan, with a series of fascinating stops along the way. Our first stop will be the historical town of Meybod, where we will explore several unique landmarks. We’ll visit the ancient Meybod Yakhchal, an ice house once used to store ice during the scorching summers. Then, we’ll discover the Chaparkhane (ancient postal service station), followed by the Shah Abbasi Caravanserai, a well-preserved roadside inn that once hosted travelers along the Silk Road. We’ll also marvel at the ingenious architecture of the Meybod Pigeon Tower, a structure designed to collect pigeon droppings for use as fertilizer, and the beautiful Jame Mosque of Meybod.

Continuing on our route, we’ll stop in Nain to visit the Jame Mosque of Nain, one of the oldest mosques in Iran, dating back over a thousand years. This architectural gem provides a glimpse into the early Islamic history of the region.

We’ll then head to Isfahan, where we’ll settle in for the night, ready to explore this magnificent city the following day.

Day6: Isfahan

You will start your tour by visiting Imam Square including Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque or Shah Mosque, the most famous thing about this mosque is its circular dome with its extremely beautiful motifs and paintings. You will also visit Ali Qapu Palace. This Palace is one of the unique examples of Safavid palaces that were built in the 11th century AH during the reign of Shah Abbas I. Our tour in Imam Square finishes by visiting the Qeisarieh Bazaar. There are so many fantastic handicrafts you can buy as a souvenir for your family or friends because Isfahan is known for its handicrafts. We recommend you have a rest in Chah-e Haj Mirza or Azadegan Tee House, located right outside of the Square. The teahouse, decorated with old pieces of stuff and pictures, is most famous for its atmosphere and collections of antiques. Besides tea and food, you can also taste a special dessert, Dogh (a sour drink) and, Goshfil (a kind of sweat).

Day 7: Isfahan – Kashan

Our day starts with a visit to the stunning Vank Cathedral in Isfahan. Also known as the Armenian Cathedral, this architectural gem was constructed during the reign of Shah Abbas II. The cathedral is a remarkable blend of Iranian and Armenian design elements. Inside, the walls are adorned with exquisite oil paintings and gold leaf, reflecting the Iranian style, while the imagery of Jesus Christ incorporates influences from Italian art.

After our visit, we’ll drive to Kashan to explore its enchanting sights. Our first stop will be the Fin Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This serene Persian garden is renowned for its elegant water channels and the central pavilion that offers a refreshing escape and visual splendor.

Next, we’ll visit the Boroujerdi Traditional House, a beautifully restored example of Persian residential architecture. Following our exploration, we’ll head to the Kashan Bazaar where you can shop for local crafts and enjoy a relaxing cup of tea.

Day8: Kashan – Depart

Time to say “Goodbye”
